AIR RIFLE DAYSTATE MODERATOR- AIRWOLF & AIR R
Unlike most moderators that screw onto the end of the muzzle and increase the length of the rifle, the Daystate Reflex Moderator only increases total length by half the length of the moderator. The other half slips backwards over the muzzle of the rifle's existing shroud, and attaches internally in the middle of its length. The air escaping from the muzzle is then defused towards the back of the moderator, while any air still traveling forward behind the pellet travels over a series of baffles. The result is a moderator that only protrudes 3 inches from the muzzle but gives a full-sized silencing effect. As the muzzle screws directly into the baffle that is machined from solid aluminum, and the distance to the end of the moderator is much shorter, tolerances can be much tighter. Daystate says that this completely removes the chance of misalignment and a pellet "clipping" the end of the moderator. The outer body of the moderator is an attractive and lightweight carbon fiber tube. Fits the Air Wolf/Air Ranger Series with a .96" shroud.
