After 2 years of engineering and testing, the Soleus XCS is here, setting a new bar for both design and functionality! The Soleus XCS is the big brother in our Soleus lineup. It includes all of the same great features as the Soleus but boasts a larger 105mm handle and large EVA knobs that are soft to the touch and will not slip. Along with the larger handle, it has a lighter overall weight of just 6.4 ounces. We achieved this by using duralumin components, such as the hard-anodized duralumin worm shaft - which is both lightweight and strong. 10lb or 12lb fluoro? 50lb or 65lb braid? Each reel has a line memory system that won’t let you forget what is on your spool. Where the XCS really shines is in its four-step finish.
