The Tokai Trail is one of the Cape’s finest year-round mountain bike trails. The park caters for beginner and more experienced mountain bikers alike. The trail runs through views of Constantia Valley and Table Mountain, making it perfect for a beautiful day outside, taking in the scenery. The Tokai Trail is divided up into graded trails, including green, blue and black. The green graded trail caters for the beginner riders and is ideal for some family fun outdoors. 4. Karkloof Trail, KwaZulu Natal

The Karkloof Trail proudly boasts as one of South Africa’s premier mountain bike destinations. The trail covers the Karkloof Falls, which is situated between Curry’s Post and Rietvlei, on the Midlands Meander. The mountain bike trail sprawls out into a network of trails through Sappie plantations, adding spectacular sights to help out while you’re breaking a sweat. There are four designated trails, covering a good balance of climbing, forestry and adventure.
