RUARK® JACKET MEN OIL SKIN WITH INNER M
History of Wax Cotton: In the 1500’s mariners treated sails with oil to trap air and prevent water absorption more efficiently. Oils used were fish, tar and linseed oil. The waxed sailcloth off cuts were used as capes and slickers worn by the sailors and known as oilskins for protection against rain and sea spray. This also make the material more durable: it can withstand tears, thorns and scrubs.
