The Sig Sauer® 1911 Emperor Scorpion is a highly advanced semi-auto pistol based on the Browning-designed M1911 single-action, recoil-operated military sidearm. The 1911 Emperor Scorpion features an FDE PVD coated stainless steel slide and frame. The frame features an integral 3-lug Picatinny rail for attaching aftermarket sights and lights. Low-profile, SIGLITE™ night sights, dovetailed into the slide, provide rapid sight acquisition in any light, with minimal interference when drawing or reholstering the weapon. The hammer recesses into the beavertail grip safety to protect it when carrying the weapon cocked with the ambidextrous, thumb safety engaged. A pronounced memory bump on the grip safety provides reliable engagement and a consistent hold for greater accuracy. A finely checkered front strap, a textured G10 mainspring housing, and Hogue® G10 Piranha™ Magwell grips provide a secure, nonslip hold under any conditions. The Magwell grips also serve as a funnel for rapid reloading. Front and rear cocking serrations enhance reliability when loading or clearing the weapon.
