Basic FC is a supple 100% fluorocarbon which is designed to fish as a main line. Very popular worldwide amongst bass anglers and river/estuarine anglers. It has been marked every 75 metres to assist you in being able to calculate how much line remains on the reel. Basic FC, although spooled in 300M lengths to be used as a main line, is very often used as a “bulk spool” for anglers using it as an economical fluorocarbon leader.
