"PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
The BYRNA chemical irritant projectile powders are encapsulated between two half-round shells. The engineered shell design allows to break upon impact. The force of the impact shatters the shell and release the chemical irritant powder. The chemical irritant powder quickly disperses and saturates the air. The powder forms a chemical cloud which effectively incapacitates a threat.
THREAT NEUTRALIZING BYRNA chemical irritant projectiles provide an effective threat neutralizing option without deadly consequences. Threats can effectively be deterred, disorientated and incapacitated at stand-off distances. We offer various payload options that consist of blends made from PEPPER (OC), PAVA (OCII) or TEAR GAS (CS) powders. SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Physical symptoms of exposure to BYRNA chemical irritant projectiles often result in disorientation and agitation, which can lead to a state of anxiety and panic. Shortness of breath, tightening of the chest, burning throat, burning eyes, nausea, skin irritation and excessive salivation are typical symptoms.
LINE OF SIGHT
:
You don’t need line of sight. In the case where direct line of sight is obstructed, the BYRNA chemical irritant projectiles can be shot in the general direction of the threat.
The chemical cloud of the burst projectile enables you to incapacitate the threat. Multiple targets can be neutralized with one BYRNA chemical irritant projectile.
SIZE AND WEIGHT
The .68cal projectiles are approximately 17mm in diameter. This size allows for a bigger payload when compared to .50 and .43 projectiles available on the market.
The BYRNA projectiles will also work with other .68cal CO2 gas launchers.
The weight of Byrna Projectiles is between 2,7 gram - 3 gram.
