Few at CRKT still remember the day that Kit Carson revealed his original M16 design. Those that do knew right away that it was something special.
The anatomy of the M16 and the Carson Flipper are both now mainstays of the M16 design. The Carson Flipper ultimately earned him a spot in the Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall of Fame. In the end, though, Kit’s memory is eternalized in his dedication to his craft, service to our country, and the number of lives he impacted along the way.
